Unit I – The works to create a flagship store for this furniture company comprised the installation of new flooring, main staircase, toilets and staff facilities, new glazed balustrading to the staircase and mezzanine edge and new mechanical and electrical installations including underfloor heating, cooling and feature lighting throughout.

Unit II – This was undertaken 6 years later, involving fitting out the adjacent unit – which, although let, had never been occupied – to the same high standard as the existing unit and connecting the two units so that they created a seamless store. B&B Italia continued to trade throughout these works.

Potter Raper acted as Quantity Surveyor on the original shell and core development for Chelsfield Plc.
