Aaron Baker
Director
Aaron is a Director in the Central London office. He joined Potter Raper in 2009 and was made a Partner in 2015.
Aaron is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has gained diverse experience throughout his professional career. He currently works in various sectors including commercial, education, residential, industrial and hotel and leisure.
He currently manages both cost and project management commissions having delivered works for Commercial Developers and London Landed Estates, including the £10 million commercial project with façade retention in Dover Street, London; the £7 million redevelopment of four townhouses in New Cavendish Street, including façade retention; and the refurbishment of two Grade II listed townhouses in Harley Street.
He also specialises in Due Diligence and Fund Monitoring for institutional investors having delivered Sunderland City Hall (190,000 ft2), TFL Office International Quarter Stratford (280,000 ft2), the 150-bed Marriott Hotel and Veterinarian School Keele University, the FA’s National Football Centre at St George’s Park, the new North/South Stand at Headingly, 1- 2 million sq ft distribution centres for Amazon, Next, Tesco and Waitrose, and student accommodation schemes in Cambridge, UAL, Southampton, Queen Mary and Lincoln Universities.
He also carried out the Due Diligence on the £170 million Life and Mind Building and the 130,000ft2 laboratory buildings at Begbroke Science Park, both for Oxford University, as well as the new Fusion Development Research building for the UK Atomic Energy Authority at Culham Science Centre, Oxfordshire.
Aaron is a keen mountain biker and enjoys watching sporting events.
