Aaron is a Director, based in the Cambridge office and joined Potter Raper in 2022.
Aaron is the Director in charge of our Cambridge office and has over 13 years of experience in the industry. Aaron manages a team of Building Surveyors, Employer’s Agents, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and CIF specialists.
His expertise includes contract administration, condition surveys, schedules of condition, defects inspections, due diligence reports, planned maintenance surveys and Landlord/Tenant advice.
Aaron set up and managed a Building Consultancy department in past employment. This involved managing minor and major works of Leaseholder properties (in excess of 250) around East Anglia. Aaron has a wealth of knowledge in relation to Leasehold property and the Section 20 process (under the Landlord and Tenant Act).
Having a background in Government CIF (Condition Improvement Fund), Aaron has previously obtained funding for many educational establishments/clients around the UK from bids submitted for fire safety, roof replacements, windows and door replacement and safeguarding. He also, for a period, managed the Survey department for a company that completed a range of Building Survey and condition surveys on a variety of properties/ buildings around the UK.
During the pandemic, Aaron set up a Building Surveying practice for 2 years and specialised in RICS level 2 and 3 residential surveys. Aaron has a wealth of experience in this sector.
Aaron is a trained A2CofC drone pilot and uses this skill to survey buildings he is commissioned to undertake inspections on.
Aaron enjoys playing a range of sports and is also a keen guitarist.
