Nicola is a Director and manages our Brighton office, which she established in 2017, and has been with Potter Raper since 2009.
Nicola has been in the industry for over 30 years and is a Charted Project Management Surveyor with experience in Quantity and Building Surveying and has a special interest in procurement with a LLM in Construction Law. She has worked for sub-contractors, main contractors, clients and consultants, so can provide well-rounded advice.
With a cross-sector background including healthcare (Frimley Park Hospital), industrial (Church Commissioners archive centre), commercial (New England House, Brighton), residential (Victoria Road) and listed buildings (Lewes Castle Wall). Nicola is an accomplished Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, working on both new-build and refurbishment schemes for our clients.
Nicola has specialist knowledge of estate regeneration and has worked on schemes such as Westhorpe Gardens (Hendon), Kings Crescent (Hackney), Moulsecoomb Regeneration (Brighton) and Kennaway Estate (Stoke Newington).
Nicola leads our Learning and Development programmes, is an RICS Assessor and acts as a mentor for the Future of London. She also sits on the committee of the Constructing Excellence Sussex Club.
Nicola has a passion for long-distance walking and her Welsh Terrier. You can also occasionally find her roller skating along Madeira Drive in Brighton!
