Phil Newsham
Project Director
Phil joined Potter Raper as a Senior Project Manager in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2023 and Project Director in 2024.
Phil has over 15 years cost and project management experience within consultancies and working directly for a Client Developer, predominately in the office and commercial, retail, residential and educational sectors.
His experience means that he has exposure to project delivery from multiple perspectives, and can provide specialist experience in contract administration, NABERS, BREEAM, brief development, master planning of capital expenditure, programme and stakeholder management, local authority approval including planning, S106, S278, highways land swap and walkways agreement.
Schemes Phil has been involved in include Sky Studios Elstree, the new state-of-the-art film and TV studio, 1000 Hillswood Drive (a high-end office refurbishment scheme), and Oxford Life and Mind Building (construction of new state of the art labs and office space for Oxford University).
Outside of work, Phil enjoys multiple sports, taking part in marathons and assault course races and renovating Victorian properties.
