Sandra Worth
Director
Sandra originally worked for Potter Raper between 1998 and 2008 as an Associate Partner and returned in 2014 after spending time working as a Principal Projects Officer for the NHS. In 2020 Sandra was promoted to Director and helps run the Quantity Surveying department in Beckenham alongside David Spiller.
She has gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying services over the last 37 years, working primarily in the residential, healthcare and education sectors. Her experience working for the NHS has given her valuable insight into understanding projects from a client perspective
She provides financial management and cost control pre-contract on several large-scale residential developments for both Local Authorities and Housing Associations, whilst providing guidance and support to our team of Quantity Surveyors in the Beckenham office. Her project portfolio includes a £195m Joint Venture at West Thamesmead and the £315m redevelopment of Holloway Prison.
She specialises in cost planning for masterplans and providing support through the procurement of Joint Venture schemes including agreement of Package Prices and formulas and worked examples for the calculations of Put and Call contracts and overage calculations etc.
Sandra also provides a programme for work experience placements for both our clients and local schools and has spent time in schools promoting the industry for the past five years. She also spent five years as a Parent Governor serving on the Building and Finance Committee of a Primary School
Sandra enjoys reading and travelling, particularly to Italy, where she has family.
