Barley Homes (Group) Limited, the housing company owned by West Suffolk Council, have signed their first contract to build 37 new homes in Haverhill with Contractors Marfleet and Blyth Limited. The new homes will be built for private sale, shared ownership and affordable rent.
The former Westfield Primary School site, off Manor Road in Haverhill will not only bring much needed housing and improve a vacant site in Haverhill but will also bring extra income for West Suffolk Council to help support services. Funding has also been provided to improve the local railway walk, primary and secondary schools and library.
