‘I am a very hands-on, practically minded person, so the construction industry suits me perfectly. Since working in the industry, I have had exposure and experience in all different areas and I have developed a genuine enthusiasm for the maintenance and retrofit of existing dwellings with consideration to the property health and the occupier health. Whilst we embrace advancements in technology and regulations, in my opinion it is essential to not overlook the important of enhancing the structures that have served as valuable assets and homes for decades.’ – Alicia Lacey, Building Surveyor.
