On Friday, Potter Raper joined forces with Thurrock Council, Wates Group, Mears Group PLC, and Axis Europe to create 45 Christmas hampers for care leavers.
In each hamper, alongside food and cosmetic items, we included leaflets showcasing training opportunities. These leaflets cover a spectrum of options, including online courses, apprenticeships, CV writing skills, and future opportunities.
These care leavers (18-25 yrs) from Children’s Social Care will be treated to a special Christmas Dinner on Christmas day to ensure they are supported over the festive period. The hampers, filled with love and care, will be presented to them afterward.
