We consider our employees to be our most valuable asset and investment in them is a significant part of our business philosophy. This is one of the reasons we have decided to become an Employee Ownership Trust from May 2022.

Our employees and the service they provide has always been instrumental to the growth and success of our business, and with our commitment to invest in our staff, we want to give them the opportunity to collaborate in the decisions and the success of Potter Raper.

Our Managing Director, Simon Daniels said, “Potter Raper means a great deal to me, as it does to many of us. I started in the Beckenham office in 1983, working alongside the founders, Gerry Potter and Mike Raper.

We hear a lot from our Clients that our service is excellent. We have great staff across all offices, who provide quality work.

We have a family atmosphere; people all know each other, and I think that is one of the attractions for working for Potter Raper and hopefully when new employees join us, they see and feel this culture.

We want to preserve Potter Raper, the name and its identity. Keeping it as a standalone company and ensuring it is not morphed into a big organisation was essential. We don’t want to change Potter Raper’s business philosophy and felt that the Employee Ownership Trust was the best route for us.”
