Hart Road first site meeting

We are pleased to announce our involvement in the Hart Road project for Legal & General Affordable Homes, with the first site meeting taking place last week.

Acting as the Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and Clerk of Works we’re overseeing the construction of 44 new build houses using timber frame construction. These homes, designed for a mixture of shared ownership and affordable rent, will be a net zero carbon development, featuring closed panel timber frames and pre-installed windows. With air source heat pumps and solar panels, sustainability is at the forefront of this innovative project.

“We are pleased to be involved in the Hart Road project,” said Nicky Silvey, Associate Director at Potter Raper. “Once constructed, it will be one of Legal & General Affordable Homes’ first net zero carbon developments, marking a significant milestone in sustainable housing.”

We are looking forward to seeing the transformation of this former dwelling with stables, outbuildings, and a paddock into a vibrant community space, complete with a new playground and allotment area for residents to enjoy!
