The redevelopment to a major part of Headingley Stadium has been completed, transforming the Cricket and Rugby Ground into one of the finest sporting complexes in the world. Legal & General partnered with Leeds City Council to fund this redevelopment.
The scheme included the demolition and rebuild of the unique North/South stand which straddles both the adjacent Rugby and Cricket grounds and enhances the facilities for the players and visitors. The stand now incorporates three-tiered seating which encompasses hospitality lounges, banquet hall and changing and treatment rooms. The Cricket and Rugby Stadium now offers the highest standards of playing, practice and training areas, including quality seating and corporate facilities. State-of-the-art technology and media facilities have also been incorporated within the stand.
