The opening of the new Heatherwood Hospital, in Ascot, has been a huge success, with patients being treated there since March 2022.
The old hospital was not in a good state, so this new modern, state-of-the-art building has been a huge benefit to the local community, and for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and the staff who work there.
The new hospital provides circa 11,500 sq m world-class dedicated planned care facilities, over 4-storeys, for both NHS and private patients.
Kier have released a project completion video that shows off the new hospital and highlights just how much thought and care has gone into the design to make it extremely user-friendly for both the patients and staff.
Andrew Thorp, NEC Project Manager, Associate Director from Potter Raper said, ‘I think what’s been achieved is something quite special; special for the community, special for the NHS and a stunning building overall.’
Potter Raper are proud to have been part of the team responsible for the successful delivery of this outstanding project
