We are pleased to announce our involvement as Quantity Surveyor and CDM consultant on the Kingsway to the Sea project for Brighton & Hove City Council! Due for completion in December 2024, Kingsway to the Sea is an exciting regeneration project aiming to transform the underused and derelict areas along Hove Seafront between King Alfred Leisure Centre and Hove Lagoon.
Significant progress has already been made on the project, including the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of the new building structure. This structure will soon provide a modern bowls clubhouse featuring private changing rooms, a members’ lounge, public bar/café, commercial kitchens, a function room, a roof terrace, a tennis centre, a reception area, and public toilets/changing rooms. Additionally, the project includes amenities such as an artificial bowls lawn, sand courts for volleyball and other sand sports, all-weather tennis and padel tennis courts, a croquet lawn, and an exciting new skate/BMX pump/roll track amidst extensive landscaping and accessible paths and ramps.
We are looking forward to seeing this project complete and provide a great space for the community to socialise and bowl.
