Potter Raper attended the Langley Park School for Girls Sixth Form Careers Fair to showcase the exciting opportunities within the Construction Sector.
We had the pleasure of speaking with sixth-form students, sharing insights into the day-to-day life of working for a construction consultancy, and guiding them through the various academic routes into the industry. We were incredibly impressed by how engaged, polite, and enthusiastic the students were – a true credit to the school and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of their teachers.
Careers fairs are more than just an opportunity to share our knowledge – they’re a chance to open doors. In fact, we met Tali Ness at a Langley careers event in 2021, and after offering her a one-week work experience placement, we were so impressed that we welcomed her to our team as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. She now works with us full-time while studying through day release.
At Potter Raper, we’re passionate about inspiring and supporting the next generation of construction professionals. Engaging with students, providing valuable insights, and offering placements where possible is just one of the ways we’re investing in the future of the Construction Industry.
