This project is set to deliver Phoenix Community Housing’s next generation of low energy social housing and will see the construction of a Passivhaus building for the over 55s, as well as two innovative intergenerational units, which will house post-graduate students from the local Goldsmiths University. On the basis of a ‘good neighbour agreement’, each student will offer a few hours of their time each week to spend with the older residents. The development will also contain a garden room for the residents to meet and socialise. We were pleased to be working on this award-winning scheme, working alongside Levitt Bernstein Architects.
