We are thrilled to announce that Mulberry Academy London Dock has officially achieved Passivhaus certification! This makes it one of only a handful of buildings worldwide to meet the most stringent requirements for comfort and energy efficiency.
This exciting project involved the construction of a new five-storey, L-shaped secondary school on a narrow plot of land. It includes car parking, utilities, a sports hall, and a games space in the basement, with the roof of the games space cleverly forming part of the playground above.
We were proud to act as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, Clerk of Works, and Party Wall Surveyor on behalf of our client, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, ensuring the project was delivered to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and performance.
This Passivhaus-certified school is a leading example of how sustainability and energy efficiency can be seamlessly integrated into modern educational facilities.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this remarkable achievement!
