This land-locked site was occupied by a car sales room and workshop. As well as being partially under St George’s Court (a residential block), the site was bounded to the south by St George’s Court and Collection Restaurant, to the west by London Underground tracks, to the north by the gardens and buildings of Alexander Square and South Terrace.
The project comprised demolition of the building and development of the site to provide two retail units finished to shell and core. The works included provision of a new mezzanine level in each unit, replacement of the roof and external glazing, sundry renewals and repairs to the internal and external brick walls, finishes, decorations, mechanical plant and limited electrical services.
