The house was designed by Architect Henry Holland and completed in 1775. The site includes Grade II listed gardens and grounds with Grade I listed ornate stone gate piers. The gardens were designed by Capability Brown and were one of his first commissions before he came to fame. The site works are planned to be completed in 2020, including the soft furnishings and fittings contract.
