The gardens were designed by Capability Brown and were one of his first commissions before he came to fame.
Conservation and refurbishment to the mansion internally including reordering the upper-level areas and the construction of a new external plant room. The main principal rooms on the ground floor were fully conserved and restored. Installing new services throughout. Recovering the upper roof and terraces, decking and restoring the Portland stone parapets.
