336 new homes were built around two new public squares, on Blackfriars Road in Southwark.
This new multi award-winning development, known as Blackfriars Circus, is now a bustling tree-lined boulevard, with an array of new shops, cafés and leisure facilities. The development also benefitted from 56 new units within Block A dedicated to social rent.
There are roof-top gardens, offering residents spectacular views across the London skyline.
The area has been regenerated to make it more amenable for pedestrians. Pavements have been widened, trees planted and a new cycle highway built to take cyclists from Elephant & Castle to King’s Cross safer and speedier than before.
