JCT Design & Build 2016
Complete refurbishment of computer laboratories including replacing all windows, increasing the area of glazing to front elevation and creation of an entirely new entrance which ties the building to the new university main entrance.
Working around a live data centre, the works included maximizing the potential of the generous floor-to-ceiling height by introducing a mezzanine floor to create an additional open access study area. Overall, the reconfiguration of the space and the introduction of the mezzanine floor increased the number of computer spaces from 244 to 400.
