This project was funded by a £20m grant from the Wolfson Foundation to ‘support outstanding research that could make significant advances in the understanding and treatment of neurological diseases’; the grant was the single largest grant ever made by the foundation.

The works included alterations and refurbishment of part of the ground floor of this Grade II listed building to create a world-class facility for bringing together multi-discipline teams of academics and clinicians from UCL and ULCH who together with hospital staff are working towards translating scientific discovery into routine patient treatments.
