Extension of an existing distribution centre for NEXT and the construction of a new car park. The works include the installation of PV panels to the new extensions roof.

The works were carried out in partnership with Legal & General and NEXT, to increase NEXT’s existing distribution warehouse at Brookfield Park by 18,895m² (20m high) and provide new car parking facilities with 492 spaces (Including 27 disabled parking).
The site is located on the outskirts of Rotherham in a wider development which was granted Enterprise Zone status to stimulate investment and create employment. The extension will include a mix of offices (at high level) and an industrial space, as well as a new service yard and loading dock doors.
The works involved the installation of PV panels to the new extensions roof and is targeted to provide a third of the electricity required to run the building. PV Installers are Lynx Group.
