This major redevelopment of a four-storey building aims to transform Tempo into one of the greenest, most sustainable occupier focused office building in the Thames Valley; replacing the façade/curtain walling, infilling lightwells and introducing a new reception block and rooftop pavilion spaces.

The project will deliver circa 150,000 sq ft of high-quality office and retail space and is targeting ‘net zero carbon in construction’, retaining elements of the façade stonework to reduce the embodied carbon.

The design aims to reduce operational energy usage by over 23%, compared to “business as usual” performance targets set by the property industry. This will be achieved through the use of renewable and energy efficient technologies including Air Source Heat Pumps and Photo Voltaic panels.

The project and is targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification and 5* NABERS rating.
