Double win for Tower Court at the Civic Trust Awards!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Tower Court has won a Civic Trust Award and a Special Award for Community Impact & Engagement.

These new wins further celebrate Tower Court as a benchmark for quality, inclusive housing and community-led regeneration.

The Special Award for Community Impact & Engagement is presented to an exemplary project that demonstrates how successful community engagement can help deliver the highest standards of design while meeting the needs of local people. Judges praised Tower Court, saying, “This project exemplifies how deep and respectful community involvement can lead to design solutions that are not just functional but truly beloved by those who inhabit them.”

The Civic Trust Awards are given to projects that make an outstanding contribution to the built environment, demonstrating excellence in architecture or design while being sustainable, accessible, and civically valuable. The judges said, “A model for future urban regeneration projects, skilfully blending architectural elegance, sustainability and inclusivity to meet the diverse needs of contemporary London.”

Last year, Tower Court was also crowned Overall Winner and Housing Category Winner at the New London Awards, with praise for its design excellence, vibrant public realm, and meaningful collaboration with the Charedi community.

As Project Manager, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor, Clerk of Works and CDM Principal Designer, we’re proud to have taken a lead role in this project from RIBA Stages 1 to 7, helping to transform a former estate into 4 stunning apartment buildings, a commercial space and imaginative landscaping, delivering 132 homes – 33 for Social Rent, 19 for Shared Ownership, and 80 Private. A special mention of Daisy Froud, the Engagement Consultant who played a key role by working closely with the community to understand the unique cultural needs of future residents. This early investment in listening and learning enabled an architectural response grounded in real community insight rather than assumptions — and played a vital role in the project’s impact and success.

We had a brilliant evening celebrating – congratulations to the entire team involved:
