Valley Drive is a redevelopment project comprising the demolition of four, two-storey blocks of 36 bedsits and constructing 48 affordable rented flats over two blocks, with one block catering for over 55s.
The scheme also includes an integrated landscape to Mike Spring Court (an existing over 55s home), new access roads, further parking and cycle and mobility stores.
Residents are heavily involved in design matters relating to the location of the new homes and the integration with the existing community in Mike Spring Court. This has occurred by way of an active consultation process including workshops on open days.
